MiTO

Established in December 2004, MiTO represents emerging, mid-career and established artists in all media. MiTO exhibitions programme is mostly focused on questioning the role of realist styles in a post-digital era by supporting up-and-coming artists who have already made a mark by developing their own distinctive codes and arguments in favor of a non-representational depiction of "the real" as no necessary connected to reality. Curatorial projects that encourage alternative readings to codified subjects and objects are also favoured.
