How long have u been living there?
I've lived here for 26 years, and then I went to Germany for 8 months, then back here again!
Where do you get your inspiration?
I like retro horror movies, the really bad ones! The ones that have those monsters and zombies, that is so bad that just makes you laugh. That's so funny! The streets and people also inspire me; I like to absorb small details I get when just walking down the street. I guess that unconsciously I mix these things and well, this crazy mess you see in my work is what comes out
What's your favourite color?
I would say pink. But when I say pink, I mean pink inserted in a great palette, maybe with a cool purple, white and grey. Well I guess pink goes well with right about any color.
When are you the most productive?
I like to work during the afternoon. Even though I work during all day and many times at night. I most enjoy working during the afternoon, let's say, 16.00 to 20.00 are my favorite hours.
Where is your favourite vacation-spot?
I like staying here in my hometown during the summer. It's really (really) close to the beach, so I enjoy it a lot. And for winter, anywhere with snow...snowboard's up!
What kind of music do you like?
I'm always listening to music when working, and it goes from hip-hop, to dubstep, grime, reggae, electro-punk... quite a variety hein?
Any exhibitions planned this year?
I have this ongoing contact for an exhibition here in Portugal, (let's see how it turns out), and another one for a collective exhibition in Paris (let's see how it turns out as well!)
What is your favourite material to work on?
That's easy, paper and pens (lot's of them, all black)
