How long have u been living there?
I've been living in London for around 7 years now, before that I was living in Poland.
Where do you get your inspiration?
I do get inspiration from all sorts of things. Lately I was into medical aesthetics, and experimenting how they translate into art. Also some radical Body art movements, from Vienna aktionists to the most contemporary ones. I also am attracted to the line where pop culture/ kitsch and underground/counter culture meet. In the past I was greatly influenced by paintings by Bacon, and Helnwein.
What's your favourite color?
black
When are you the most productive?
whenever I feel anxious, angry or disturbed in any way. It is quite true that artist who's happy and settled isn't very productive.
Where is your favourite vacation-spot?
Anywhere far from here, where there's not too many tourists, I love traveling, meeting people. Lately I've been to North africa, Thailand and India, but as I say I'd rather go on my own, avoiding the tourist spots.
What kind of music do you like?
Rock, metal, punk, industrial, noise, jazz and classical music. Some electronic is good too.
Any exhibitions planned?
I'm taking part in a group show here in London, I will be putting up an installation. There's an art book planned for the exhibition too, so Im looking forward to it. I used to exhibit a lot last year, and some of the works are still out there at the galleries, so need to wait for their return before I plan anything bigger again.
What is your favourite material to work on?
painting on canvas must be my favourite
