Where do you get your inspiration?
Being an illustrator is not a job..its part of your personality...for me my whole everyday life helps me to feed my creativity.
I am very influenced by southamerican or african art. I love the idea of combining “primitive” elements with contemporary content
What's your favourite color?
every colour is beautiful, but its the combination of colours which makes it exciting

I am a morning person

definitely Cape Town
What kind of music do you like?
Boleros, Jazz and Soul

Right now my exhibition In Cape Town will be on for the next 4 weeks, then I have an exhibition planned in New York for September
What is your favourite material to work on?
I work on wood and cardboard
What are your tools? (special pens, colors etc.)
For my paintings I only use acylic paint, but combine it with paper and use my cutter and a scraper for texture.
