It's a brand new year and what a difference a day makes. Sadly, most of the great moments from last year will eventually be forgotten. Most are probably already stored beneath piles of whatever you're stuffing your mind with right now. Eventually images will outlive actual events; photographs will remain after memories have become ashes.
And yes, something rises up, a second life. This second life has seen a graffiti informed street art and skateboarding community travel the world faster taking a board down any San Francisco slope.
In this issue: Vincent Skoglund, JR, RuediOne, plus Liz Haines on Brian Haw and social reactions to protest. We also take you back to Miami with us as 2007 got flipped and everybody muttered that 2008 had best be great - or at least a bit better.
A bit better, a bit less stupid, every day we carry on.
