1981, Hannover, Germany. I studied graphic design, but I think most of the stuff is more or less self-taught.
How long have u been living there?
Most of the time... spent some time abroad though. In Japan and Norway during my studies and 1,5 years more in Norway to work and live in Oslo.
Where do you get your inspiration?
I think travelling is a very strong inspiration. You look at so many new strange things when you do that. If I had to name some of my favourite artists, you would read Futura 2000, Kaws, Mr. Jago and José Parlá when it comes to street inspired art. I also love fine artists like Matthew Barney, Fischli & Weiss or Gerhard Richter. But the biggest inspiration sources are my friends who work creatively and music.
What's your favourite color?
Mauve, because it sounds funny.
When are you the most productive?
In the late evenings when it gets calmer... preferably in summer with open windows. A cold "Jever" beer would make the scene complete.
Where is your favourite vacation-spot?
Definitely Japan. The great people, mystic culture, incredible food and vibrating cities are unbeatable!
What kind of music do you like?
It always comes back to hip hop, but apart from that I like a lot of genres like drum and bass, jazz, pop, funk, soul and electronic stuff.
Any exhibitions planned
Not yet.
What is your favourite material to work on?
That would be paper.
What are your tools? (special pens, colors etc.)
I love Posca pens and markers in general. Especially when they're fresh.
